Our team was happy to meet with the clients in the region and discuss new projects at Euroexpo, the trade show of the equipment and consumables related to the mining sector. Element was represented among main competitors such as Weir Minerals, Metso Minerals and FLShmidt. The attendants of the expo were professionals from the leading mining companies in Sweden such as Boliden, LKAB and Kaunis Iron.

The exhibition meant a lot for the mining world in the Nordics, since we could see representatives from pretty remote areas visiting the event. The trade fair opened a great opportunity for networking between suppliers of equipment and mining plants. Eselalo Ampofo, the head of sales of the Slurry Handling Solution department, together with our sales representative in Sweden, Olle Lindquist, presented samples of the most demanded in the industry wear parts for slurry pumps. They also told visitors about the wide assortment of parts for crushers of various brands that are applied in the mining sector.

We noted that the most demanded items by Element customers are pump parts, as the market seeks for reliable and more affordable parts that would save time and cut costs on the equipment.

“Customers were extremely interested in alternative parts for slurry pumps as well as in our engineering capabilities to improve parts for reaching better technical parameters. During the exhibition we have made verbal agreements with five mines to expand our cooperation to new items related to slurry handling. We expect to get new orders from these customers during summer time”, Ampofo said.

During the exhibition, representatives of the largest mines in the Nordics visited us at the stand proving that the mining sector is in great need of alternative parts for mining equipment of high-quality. Booked beforehands, our meetings worked as a forum and let us talk with many clients face to face and to set future steps in our cooperation.
