Element advances global reach at four mining and construction exhibitions this September
What does it take to prove you understand a customer’s operation, no matter where in the world it sits? This September, Element set out to answer this question in person.
Our team packed for four exhibitions within three weeks, standing on basalt dust in Germany, soil red in South Africa, humid halls in Indonesia, and the streets of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. Each stop had its own rhythm and its own crowd, but the same questions kept coming up: can Element’s parts deliver when things get tough underground, or in the pit? Who backs you up when something goes wrong?
Here is how the month unfolded, one exhibition at a time.
Steinexpo in Homberg/ Nieder-Ofleiden, Germany
This year, Steinexpo was held in Europe’s largest basalt quarry located in Nieder-Ofleiden, bringing together thousands of professionals in the aggregates and construction industries. Element was honored to display our products on a stand right at the heart of the trade fair, together with our partner, Lutze Group, opening up plenty of conversations with our potential customers.
Our visitors came from Germany and seven European countries, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Belgium, Latvia, Moldova, and Ukraine, with a strong mix of existing Lutze’s customers and new prospects from across our partner’s sales network.
Element products drew steady interest throughout the week, and the show generated a solid pipeline of leads we are confident will convert into new business across Central Europe. It marks a meaningful step in growing our footprint in the region.

By the close of the show, our team had already prepared two parts for delivery directly to customers on site, a concrete sign of interest translating into action.
“Overall, it was a very successful and productive trade fair week. We truly believe that this was an important step towards expanding our business further into Central Europe”.
Matti Vikman, Sales Director, Aggregates at Element
We are grateful to our distribution partner’s entire team, Lutze Group for a productive week of collaboration, and to everyone who visited the stand to discuss Element’s solutions.
Mining Indonesia 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia
From the moment our booth at Mining Indonesia opened, the hall was filled, with around 80% of the visitors being locals and 20% being from other parts of the world.
Throughout four days, slurry pump parts and filtration solutions attracted the most attention, which is indicative of the current trajectory of Indonesia’s mining and mineral processing activities.
The exhibition opened a door for us to start many meaningful conversations with new prospects encountering the Element range for the first time. Simultaneously, we got a chance to reconnect with several existing customers in person.
“The visitors have been very open and collaborative, giving us valuable insights into their current needs and upcoming demands. Together with our partner Nord Minerals, we look forward to supporting them in the months ahead”.
Rui Pinto, Head of Business Lines, Slurry Handling Solutions at Element
Following the show, some of our discussions have already turned into concrete next steps. Now we are busy with customer visits and trial planning on our slurry handling and filtration solutions around the area.

We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to those who visited us during the show and gave us opportunities to understand more about your mine operations on-site, and to our distribution partner in the region, Nord Minerals for a strong week of collaboration.
See you at Mining Indonesia 2027, with more products and promising news across the regions from us.
Electra Mining Africa 2026 in Johannesburg, South Africa
Electra Mining Africa brought our stand to Johannesburg for the continent’s largest mining event, held once every two years. From the opening day, visitors arrived from Southern, Western, Eastern, and Northern Africa, a mix of long-standing partners and new faces meeting Element for the first time.
Spare parts for slurry pumps, crushers, and filtration solutions drew the strongest interest at the stand, and most conversations centered on optimization and performance improvements rather than general product enquiries. By the close of the show, the team had agreed to run three crusher spares trials and two pump spares trials with customers across Africa.

“For us, the week was also a clear reflection of the scale of opportunities across the African market and of Element’s ongoing commitment to supporting customers with reliable mining and mineral processing solutions.”
Eselalo Ampofo, Director, Mining at Element
Inspired by the energy and breadth of this year’s event, we have already reserved our stand for Electra Mining Africa 2028. Thank you to everyone who joined us during the week for such insightful conversations. See you in 2028.
SAMAO 2026 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso
SAMAO gave our team in Burkina Faso something particularly valuable this year: direct feedback from the customers already relying on our products. Several visited the stand specifically to share how satisfied they have been with what we deliver, the kind of validation that confirms our high-quality products in the aftermarket sector.
The show also opened new leads, especially around emerging gold mining projects, which remain the anchor of the regional market. What stood out, though, was how much interest came from quarrying companies, particularly around our crusher range, which shows an early signal of where demand may shift in the future.
Throughout the week, our local dealer played a strong role in connecting us with familiar faces and new prospects while also expanding our presence in the market.
“Considering that just two years ago, we had virtually no presence in Burkina Faso. Today, our slurry handling business line has supplied several different mines in the region. We are satisfied to see our footprint and market share growing steadily in West Africa”.
Luis Leite, Sales Director, Mining at Element

The show closed with many doors to new partnerships and business opportunities across other West African markets, a promising indicator for where Element’s presence in the region is headed next.
Thank you from Element
To everyone who visited our stands this September, across Europe, Africa, and Asia, we are truly grateful for every conversation you brought to us. Each one gave us a clearer understanding of the needs and demands shaping the aftermarket sector today. Wherever our stand travels next, we will keep showing up in person, keep listening to what your operations need, and keep developing the high-quality products and support services you can rely on for the long run.
