A Year of Growth and Strategic Vision for 2025
Element has just concluded a remarkable 2024, a year marked by great revenue growth and significant strides towards becoming a globally recognized player in the mining and construction sectors.
Reflecting on 2024
In 2024, Element’s company revenue increased by 32%, compared to the previous year, underscoring the company’s continued upward trajectory. The year marked in solidifying Element’s position as a Group of Companies. Under the umbrella of our parent company in Finland, we successfully established two direct subsidiaries: one legal entity in Johannesburg, South Africa and another one in Porto, Portugal, which will officially start operating in the upcoming months. Each subsidiary now holds key responsibilities in different geographic markets, optimising our ability to serve and expand in these regions.
A milestone achievement last year was the growth of Element’s dealer and agent network, now spanning 25 dealers across the globe. Our international footprint expanded, and by the end of 2024, Element operated within 30+ countries. The trials and technical successes we achieved throughout the year reinforced Element’s credibility. Dozens of successful trials were conducted globally, with several tailored engineering solutions offered to our customers, directly addressing their equipment needs. Many of these trials resulted in annual orders for 2025 and long-term agreements for consignment stock, ensuring continuous, on-demand product availability.
Our commitment to excellence was demonstrated not only in the product and service we offer but also through our organizational growth. Element proudly renewed its ISO9001 certification, marking the successful optimization of internal processes to operate efficiently and effectively. Our team also expanded, welcoming eight new talents across Finland, Portugal, South Africa, and Indonesia, to drive our future growth.
Participation in nine exhibitions across eight countries last year allowed us to deepen relationships with existing customers and engage with new ones, expanding our global network. These events were key in raising Element’s visibility on the international stage.
Looking Ahead: Strategy for 2025
As we move into 2025, Element’s strategy is focused on building on the successes of 2024 while pushing forward with new initiatives and product offerings. Our commitment to continuous product development will see the introduction of new products to the market soon. We will continue to expand our range of materials and engineering solutions, with the goal of offering even better customer experiences. We aim to help our customers tackle the challenges they face with their slurry pumps and crushers, providing them with solutions that extend the lifespan and efficiency of their equipment. For the aggregates market, we will expand our product portfolio to include major spare parts for crushers, focusing on the most critical and high-demand parts such as pitmans, main shaft assemblies, and others.
A central focus in 2025 will be operational excellence. We are committed to streamlining our operations to deliver products to our customers more quickly and cost-effectively. Our strategically placed warehouses in Rauma, Barcelona, and Johannesburg will be crucial to this strategy, ensuring a seamless and fast supply chain. Our guiding principle for operational development this year is to ‘Simplify to Amplify’, enabling us to better serve our customers.
Element will also continue to increase its visibility and strengthen its relationships through participation in key industry events. In 2025, you’ll find us at Minex in Turkey, MAXPO in Finland, Mining and Metals Central Asia in Kazakhstan, Mining Indonesia, and SIM in France. These exhibitions will serve as an excellent platform to showcase our products and solutions and stay at the forefront of industry trends.
Lastly, from a People Operations perspective, we aim at strengthening our team — not only in terms of personnel, but also through deepening our internal culture. We will continue to grow and develop in all areas, with a specific focus on expanding our sales operations across Europe and Africa. A key part of our 2025 strategy is enhancing all stages of the employee experience, ensuring that our team members feel supported and empowered to contribute to Element’s success.

Building on the success of last year, we are entering an exciting new chapter, driven by four key pillars: expanding market opportunities, operational excellence, enriched product offering, and a talented team close to our customers. We are poised to capture new markets, broaden our reach, and unlock untapped potential on a wider geographical presence than before.
